Season 3 : Episode 9 Between Two Worlds: The Road to Rainbow Baby After Loss
In this profoundly moving episode, we have a heartfelt discussion about the complex emotions involved in pregnancy after the loss of a baby, the subsequent joy and anxiety of expecting a rainbow baby, and the significant role of support systems through this journey.
Today’s guest is Grace Peterson, a dedicated teacher specializing in reading, special education, and general instruction. Grace opens up about her personal experiences and shares invaluable insights on coping mechanisms, preparations, and the overall impact of sharing her story. Her story is one of hope, resilience, and the power of healing through connection.
I am a teacher by trade and work primarily as a reading specialist. Reading and writing have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember, some of my poetry gained recognition from Nobel Peace Prize winner Elie Wiesel. I recently published my memoir about what it is really like dealing with pregnancy after tfmr loss and the traumatic hospitalization of my newborn son. I want to share my story to help others on their journey.
